Welcome to our podcast focused on our experiences as a couple working together to get Rick across the finish line of Race Across America in 2021. In this episode we set the stage for the podcasts to come by introducing you to us: Rick Zwetsch, a 60-something recreational cyclist turned ultra-cyclist and Caryn Capriccioso, his life partner, business partner and now beginner ultra-cycling crew member.

 

Using a conversational format, Rick and Caryn talk through what made Rick decide to tackle ultra-cycling at this stage in his life, why we started this podcast, and then share an overview of Race Across America – the history, the stats and what to expect from today’s RAAM.
